On Saturday, 30th October, we hosted our 2nd members' day at Remedy Oak golf club.
The Stableford competition was in perfect weather, with the course in excellent condition.
Eighty-one players participated, and Danny Upton won with an imposing 43 points. Danny will be receiving £500 off of his insurance premium for the coming year.
Mike Read and Paul Barlow were in 2nd and 3rd places with 42 and 41 points, respectively. These scores would usually be good enough to win the event, but Danny just pipped them on the day. Mike and Paul will both be receiving £250 off of their insurance premium.
